Wordless Wednesday : Teppanyaki

Wordless Wednesday : Teppanyaki

Boyo had his first teppanyaki experience at our holiday in Nusa Dua, Bali this April.  He took to it like an egg to a grill plate!

I’m joining in with Trish from My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.

Come and check out the beautiful images!

Kia Kaha, Trish.  Thinking of you x

“Took it like an egg to a grill…” – LOL!
How cute is his smile in the first photo! :)

He was just a little bit excited! X

Wow, this looks like so much fun!! :)

It really was. A much healthier way to et than his usual restaurant faves – fish & chips or lasagne or tally ski (deep fried octopus balls)

I really should take my girls to teppanyaki. So visual and fun. Rachel x

We were just about the only ones in the restaurant as we went so early (old people and kids change your dining habits!) and it was lots of fun. One little kid was so transfixed, he couldn’t eat his own dinner and then it was flambé banana time? Wow! :)

I have never been to teppanyaki. It’s one of those experiences on my ‘must do’ list. I think it just climbed up a notch, that platter of food looks delish!

Because we had a small child with us, it was a little more sedate than usual, ie, he didn’t throw food at us. Oh, it was. In fact, I’d like Japanese for dinner tonight now! :)

I love, love love Teppanyaki (had to go back up to your title to know how to correctly spell it though). Al that delish fresh food. I’m drooling!

I’m hoping I spelt it correctly in the first place! Was a great way to get Boyo to try some new foods – just introduce a little theatre! Hmmm, don’t see that working every night! :)

Teppanyaki…. yummm. And for your boy to have his first experience of it in Bali… how lucky is he!

That was a pretty awesome holiday actually. He didn’t want to eat teppanyaki. Finally we got him there and guess what, he loved it! Isn’t it nice when Mamas are actually right?!
