Wordless Wednesday : Centennial Park, Sydney

Wordless Wednesday : Centennial Park, Sydney

I got hit with the sinusitis bug again last week.  It started with a cold on Monday and by Thursday, I had full on sinusitis. The Welshman had to take Friday off to look after Boyo and get me to the doctors.  I spent all of Friday and most of Saturday sleeping it off.  By Sunday, I was starting to feel vaguely human again, so we had a family trip to Centennial Park to feed the ducks some bread (shhh, I know you’re not really supposed to) and feed the humans some ice cream.

I’m linking up with Trish from My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.

What stories do your photographs tell?

I do hope your visit to Centennial park helped you to feel better. We used to live just a very short 5 minute walk away and I took the dogs for their run there everyday and we would finish off with coffee in the sun!!! I do miss that!!

It sure did! Just some sunshine, some family time and some ice cream was worth dragging myself off my sickbed. We live near Callan Park in Sydney, which is like our back yard, but we drive past it all the time on our way to Centennial Park!

Hope you feel better soon. I haven’t been to that park yet. The kids love to feed the ducks.

It’s a great park, Salwa! Lots of space to run around, public loos, shelter, playgrounds, bike and running tracks, horses to watch and a caravan that sells yummy treats (I recommend the ice cream!).

Just can’t kick this one! Was nice to leave the house though, and have a little adventure! X

I hope you are feeling better, Sunday was a glorious day to be out and about. And don’t worry, I think most people feed the ducks (even though they are not supposed to)

Getting there, hopefully! As long as lots of people keep ignoring the signs, then the ducks won’t go hungry. :)

Lovely to have such a gorgeous spot in the middle of the city, and so acccessible!

Sounds like a perfect way to recover from a sinusitis attack. Ice cream cures everything. :)

Strictly speaking, dairy is terrible for sinus, but I was willing to make the sacrifice!

Love this set of fun pics and feeding ducks bread and humans icecream is definitely a winner.

The ice cream was the way to go! :) Although there is something about fresh white bread …

  • Katy Potaty

Gorgeous pics, as usual Kim-Marie! I love feeding ducks, so relaxing.

Oh, thanks, Katy! Just done with my 3GS iPhone. Can’t wait to get my hands on the iPhone 5. I’ve got a very big birthday next year (Big Four Oh My God!) so I’ve requested a new DSLR.
