Random photos from my week featuring some gorgeously bright colours for Wordless Wednesday
Boyo had Crazy Hair Day at school – a most excellent fundraising initiative, which saw us employ Colorsmash in green and blue, and coloured hairspray in gold, green and red, along with a bit of razor work to enhance his fauxhawk, some suitably sticky hair stuff and about half a can of hairspray. As you do.
As for my hair colour? Well, a serendipitious concurrence of a chat with a girlfriend, this post by Nikki of Styling You and a fortuitously free appointment with my usually super busy hairdresser extraordinaire Zoe King at English Hair found me with candy floss pink hair. As you do.

Everyone loves #LippyaDay!
I do so love an Instagram challenge. Norlin from Baubles Bubbles and Bags put out a challenge to post an image of yourself wearing a different lipstick every day, in an attempt to use more of the huge stash of lipsticks many of us have. Most of us never use more than a few of them either. Or buy the same colour again and again and again. We think we’re buying a new one and get home and realise it is the same as the other ones we already own. Or is that just me?

A random collection of images from my weekend.
I love vintage glamour and shabby chic and heirloom pieces. I love paying respect to my family’s heritage and present by including their furniture and gifts in our daily lives, as we live in a different country from all our family. But I’ve got a problem. You see, I live in a perfectly lovely modern terrace with clean lines and open plan living. Very nice and we love living here, but it doesn’t immediately conjure up the image of bygone eras that, say, a double-fronted Victorian semi would.
I recently had a fabulous weekend. So fabulous in fact that it started on Friday and finished on Monday. Now that’s a weekend! Firstly, I attended Bloggers Brunch 2012, put on by Kids Business, and then I had a night in by myself, followed by three days in Byron with the Gorgeous Girls, whilst the Welshman took Boyo camping. Here’s the Friday in pictures.
