We are lucky enough to live in beautiful Sydney and even more lucky to have Taronga Zoo mere minutes away. Speaking of lucky, the Welshman’s work have VIP membership passes available to borrow by staff members. Love that!

Something about Mother’s Day kind of makes you think a new outfit is in order, don’t you think? Tell me it’s not just me?!
Did you find any amazeballs thrifted treasures recently? I hit the Rozelle Markets briefly one Sunday afternoon recently. Look what I managed to score!
Oh, I had so much fun at the Rozelle Markets recently. Scored some absolute designer bargains and some gorgeous vintage pieces too. One of the fab pieces I found was a damaged size 0 Isabel Marant silk wrap skirt. Why exactly would I be excited about that?!
The Fourth of May isn’t just Star Wars Day – it is our wedding anniversary. We were well into the wedding planning stage when we realised that the Fourth of May turned around becomes May the Fourth be with you. You’ll be delighted to know that I didn’t sport Princess Leia buns for my wedding ‘do.

I absolutely love my tropical cottage garden with quirky decor, rescued from council cleanups over the years. I’m sharing some of my latest finds, which I’ve upcycled and styled. My upcycled tropage garden is a place of calm and sanctuary and satisfaction of a job well done.
We’re going to be away for New Year’s Eve this year, and I’m trying to pack lightly. i try every holiday to pack lightly – I try really hard. Honestly. But I always seem to leave half the items I need at home to get the outfit to work, get stumped by unexpectedly hot or cold or wet weather, or overpack. Chronic overpacker right here. So I’m trying a bit of advance outfit planning.
I think I’ve come up with a New Year’s Eve winner this year, thanks to Brown Sugar. I’m proud to work with Brown Sugar as a Brand Ambassador.
Bagvember Day 18 was the second day of a very relaxed and cruisy weekend – lots of family time and sofa snuggles and good food and steadfastly ignoring the disaster zone that is an overstuffed wardrobe. When the weather is so variable, I can’t put half of it into storage and not all of it fits in the actual space. It’s more of a step in wardrobe than a walk in at the best of times!
A smiley face on the first day of Winter.
Our dishwasher is out of action at the moment – the only reason I found it in this empty state.
I adore my collection of pretty vintage saucers, thrifted from various opshops and markets. What’s on my plate? Pretty vintage designs!
A close up of a spiderweb on my beloved cacti, with my equally beloved flapjacks adding a bit of out of focus colour in the background. This was an iPhone photo, so I’m particularly pleased with it.
A sign that I wanted to get off the bus and get to work? I love the reflections in this shot.
A holiday shot from our April trip to Bali. My favourite Gorman reversible hat, photobombed by a Country Road hat wearing Boyo. Cheeky monkey!
Another Bali shot. All I’ve been drinking lately is cups of tea whilst I’m on endless antibiotics but I wanted a photo of a proper drink – a supersized Happy Hour cocktail special!
6 o’clock this morning found me today in the kitchen, making breakfast and Boyo’s school lunch, whilst enjoying a lovely cup of tea made by the Welshman. 6 o’clock this evening will find me snuggled up on the sofa with Boyo, watching DVDs and eating takeaway. I love date night with Boyo!
Today’s Fox in Flats Sparkle Dare outfit also included Condom Dress Mania!
I teamed vintage Ferragamo sparkly lavender suede flats with a Seed Femme black “condom dress”, a wrist stack of various parentage, Target shiny satin striped top and Valley Girl cropped glittery jacket.
