Have you met the lovely Mez who blogs at Back in G Town?
I recently started following her and subscribed to her blog when I spotted a link to her blog that had been retweeted on Twitter. Note to newbie blogger self – competitions really do seem to work!
I spent some time catching up on her posts and entered a competition to win a beautiful piece of jewellery by Mecino. I also spent quite a bit of time checking out the gorgeous Mecino collection.
Imagine my delight when I found out this morning that I had won! Oh, happy happy days! Lucky, lucky me!
Thank you so much, Mez! Thank you also, Dynamo Nonna, who chose my entry.
Day 7′s theme for Fat Mum Slim‘s March Photo a Day challenge is “Something you wore”.
The weather today lent itself to some autumn dressing – Ginger & Smart cashmere jersey, Country Road cobalt cardigan, Veronica Maine satin tulip skirt, purple suede Diana Ferrari ballet flats, and a pop of colour with some lovely bright cobalt opaque tights. Sussan really do have the best range in this year – they have a lovely matte finish to them and they’re a bargain at $17 a pair.
The finishing touch to today’s Outfit of the Day is this completely bonkers wooden necklace that I thrifted from the Red Cross shop opposite Boyo’s school. Grey is one of my favourite colours, and teamed with the vibrant purple and green tones, it just makes me happy!
Do you have a favourite bonkers piece of jewellery that makes you happy? Pull up a chair and tell me all about it! I’d love to know x
