Photo a Day September 2012 : 1-10

My Little Drummer Boys

It’s Wordless Wednesday time and I’m linking up with
Bree from Twinkle in the Eye and
Trish from My Little Drummer Boys.

What story do your pictures tell?

1/9 – You, now

Saturday morning found Boyo and I watching Scooby Doo, snuggled up with blankets and the heater.  Saturdays are my turn for a sleep in but in the interests of Father’s Day Festival, the Welshman got two sleep ins.

2/9 – Father

Boyo and the Welshman at Father’s Day breakfast

3/9 – Far Away

Christchurch is far away but always close to my heart.  This embroidery is on my Ziera fundraising ballet pumps.

4/9 – In my postbox

Today’s post made one little Boyo very happy.  See that parcel?  Pokemon DVDs!

5/9 – Bright

Nothing like a bright pink lipstick to pop your day!  This is Chanel Insolente.

6/9 – Every day

 Every day I’m laundering

7/9 – Natural

Natural nails

8/9 – At night

At night, we sofa snuggle

9/9 – Something you do most weekends

Most weekends, we can be found at the Rozelle Markets.  It’s a nice little walk, we pick up bread from Victoire’s, Boyo has a play on the playground and we have a wander around in the sunshine.

On this visit, I picked up beautiful vintage tourist teatowels in perfect nick for a fiver each.

10/9 – Black & White

Give it a go! Australis lippies and Face of Australia lippies are awesome. About $12 and $9 respectively so it’s not too expensive if you decide you don’t like it. Or go and get some help from a makeup counter – for free! x

love the pictures.. NZ is close to my heart too!! Born in Tauranga, my dads from ChCh, the rest of my family from Invercargill.. my mums side of the family still live in NZ.. and they were all travelling to ChCh the day of the earthquake for my cousin’s 40th birthday.. luckily they were all ok.. but it scared the begeezes out of us.. :( such a sad day!

Oh, talk about timing! I’m so glad to hear everyone is OK. We didn’t lose any immediate family members but we did lose a few houses in the extended family. :(

Love your pics Kim! I’ve been trialing a new lippie lately, you make it look so easy to wear red!
Love the Saturday morning cartoon snuggles, one of my faves xx
