The Welshman and I had a child free day, so we went out for lunch and walked in the rain at the beautiful Hyde Park, Sydney. It was cold and wet, yet oh so romantic.
Yes, my bag is usually this tidy. Otherwise, I can’t find anything!
You might not know that I spent ten years living in a zoo! My dad has worked for Orana Park in Christchurch, New Zealand, since I was a little girl, and I was lucky enough to live there from a ten year old until I moved out of home at 19.
These cherries were absolutely delicious but it felt odd to be eating them in winter! The imperfectly red coloured cherry was even more delicious than the cherry-coloured cherries. Go figure!
The Welshman and I dressed up as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton for Boyo’s school fundraiser, the Rozcars, and shared a little photobooth love. I just adore these photos. It was so much fun taking them and we look so happily in love. Obviously, we are!
In January, we went to Newcastle to catch up with some old friends and their gorgeous clutch of kids. Newcastle Port is absolutely beautiful and has been glammed up, but you cannot forget it is still a working port and very noisy very early in the morning!
After several weeks of rain, there is nothing for it but to set up a veritable stable of clothes horses inside our house. It is truly amazing just how much laundry you can get on them!
