My first week of Photo a Day August 2012
I visited Boyo’s school on this day for a special parent-child project – working on the Peace Garden! We weeded, pruned, aerated, replanted, topped up, mulched, swept, scrubbed and watered for a very enjoyable hour outside. Look at the gorgeous grin of a very proud Boyo.
The Welshman was home from work early enough to join Boyo and I on our usual Thursday night sushi date. We kept it Japanese with Asahi, Midori and, um, that quintessential Japanese beverage, Fanta. One bottle each!
Boyo found this lovely little Welsh souvenir dish on a trip to the markets. The Welshman kindly empties his pockets every evening, funding my Top Juice addiction!
On Friday night, we packed up and headed 6 kilometres down the road to spend the night in five star luxury at the Sheraton on the Park as part of the Festival of Kimba. This is the gorgeous view from the chaise longue where I spent a bit of time sitting and relaxing, and taking in the view.
Well, it’s not quite a logo, but it will certainly form the basis of one when I do get around to designing a Kimba Likes logo. Orange, sky blue and crisp white.
Boyo’s beautiful haiku. I later discovered it was about a Pokemon … but I still love it!
8 o’clock is far too busy a time in the morning for me to remember to take a photograph. It’s time for Boyo to get in the shower and time for me to get my face on. 8 o’clock in the evening, however, is an entirely different story. The Welshman was in Singapore, Boyo was fast asleep in bed, and I was ensconced cosily on the sofa with the laptop and finding time for a little blogging.
Come and join the fun with Chantelle at Fat Mum Slim for the fabulous Photo a Day August 2012 project.
