Frocktober : Day 3

Frocktober : Day 3

Day 3 of Frocktober found me heading off to the office.  This should have been an easy peasy lemon squeezy wardrobe challenge today.  Select dress, add tights, choose shoes, accessories and a jacket for my Arctic office.  Same thing I do every office day.

I should have known it was too easy!  I figured I would snap a photo of my frock post-lunch as I was running a little bit late (and was inordinately hungry to boot), only to spill half my lunch down the front of my dress.  Yup, all class here.

I swung into Sussan in Pitt Street, lured by their huge SALE signs, found my favourite sales girlie whirlie and asked for help finding a frock in about 45 seconds.  Yes, I could have worn a dirty dress, but my cleaning attempts made it look like I’d had an unfortunate lactating incident.

She came up trumps with this gorgeous orange lace shift dress.  Even better, it was on the sale rack!

A bit of texture on texture.

Best of all, the Welshman loves the frock.  That’s always a good thing!

It’s Day 3 of rocking my frock for Frocktober, and raising money for the  Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

You can check out my Everyday Hero Kimba Likes fundraising page, which will track my efforts to reach my fundraising goal of $500.  Thank you so much to the gorgeous and generous souls who have made a contribution.  Love your work!
