I was so excited last weekend when the amazing Andrea from the fabulous Fox in Flats posted some sneaky teasers on Twitter and Facebook about the next Style Dare.

I’m a big fan of the Fox in Flats Style Dare.  I am one of the Fox in Flats Top 50 Style Dare Bloggers.  Mostly, I’ve loved the experience.  Sparkle Dare, Vintage Dare, Hair Dare?  All over them!  The Black Out Dare almost broke me at the time, but I’ve actually found myself buying more classic pieces in black lately.  Go figure!

 

Finally, the big announcement was made and it was Denim Dare time!  Andrea teamed up with Melinda and Sonia from Shop Me Chic, who showcased denim for the week.  Denim for spring, denim for babies and kids, and even a Mini Celebrity Chic feature, showcasing the stylings of Mr Kingston Rossdale.

I tried my best.  I really did.  But denim is a particularly difficult fabric to wear to work when you’re supposed to be at least a little bit corporate.  I work in the city from Monday to Thursday, and I failed miserably at the Denim Dare!  I couldn’t find my Country Road denim tote.  I’ve lost my denim hairbow.  I have no idea where my Mooks denim pencil skirt is.  But I did wear denim as much as possible after work, and I’ve worn it all weekend too!
